The annual Seward Silver Salmon Derby draws anglers from around the world who try their luck at catching silver salmon and winning prizes totaling over $100,000. Hike to the Harding Ice Field - if you've got sturdy legs - and view the source of local glaciers from the top! Spectacular views, and usually plenty of bears along the way. Run straight up a mountainside - then back down again - with local folks and Olympians! Mt. Marathon Race - July 4th every year.
Whitewater Rafting SixMile Creek with Chugach Outdoor Center. Take the Class IV and Class V rapids through these mountain canyons for an exhilarating experience!
